BAYGARD series C0 and C6 Water and Oil Repellents

TANATEX CHEMICALS BV continues to serve the industry with high-performance 6-carbon fluorocarbon finishes and fluorine-free water repellents for various applications.

 

CO water-repellent chemicals are formulated using modified silicones, paraffin/wax emulsions, polyurethane polymers, or dendrimer (branched) structures as replacements for perfluorinated compounds that cause persistent pollution in nature. They prevent water droplets from adhering to and being absorbed by the fabric by forming a hydrophobic film layer around the fibers on the fabric surface.

 

• Environmental and Health Compliance: ZDHC fully complies with global environmental standards such as OEKO-TEX® and REACH. It is readily biodegradable and does not bioaccumulate in nature.

• Performance Balance: Offers results very close to traditional C6 chemicals in terms of water repellency and wash resistance.

• Technical Difference (Oil Repellency): Unlike fluorocarbon molecules, CO technologies are inherently limited in their ability to provide oil and stain repellency; therefore, they are preferred in fabric groups where high water repellency and environmentally friendly production are the primary goals.
